Video DistributionField Sales Account Manager – Russia and CIS Countries
Introduction
We have an opening for a Distribution Account Manager (DAM) for our Video business in Russia and CIS Countries. When you join the Video team, you won’t just be witness to the explosive growth in global communications, you will be in it!
An understanding and interest in video technology will enable you to effectively sell our products and solutions to a wide number of market applications. From designers of dynamic consumer products such as High Definition Plasma Televisions and Video I-Pods to Broadcasters & Network Operators working with new services such as Digital Terrestrial Television and 3G, our client offers a solution for all their test, analysis or monitoring needs.
Job Responsibilities
As part of a successful, high growth specialised Video Sales team, this Account Manager DAM will report directly into the Video Sales Director with a dotted line report to the Regional Sales Director
This role is being established to proactively sell our product and solution portfolio to all aspects of the Broadcasting value chain from R&D; through content creation to content delivery across Russia and CIS Countries.
In this role, your responsibilities will be will be required to:
To continue our growth.
Working successfully with our existing customer base, as well as uncovering and following up new projects through seminars, networking and, cold calling,ensuring effective local partner management & building strong relationships in our Tier 1 accounts.
You will be responsible for Recruiting, training and manageing authorised channel partners (system integrators and distributors) to sell video products and services in their geographic region
You will be the company representative to channel partners to maximize sales revenue through all sales-oriented activities including:
Adding value to products, joint project development with partners, support of sales promotions support of and marketing activities.
You will work towards achieving mutually agreed business goals and will be measured on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Job Requirements:
Technical qualification in the discipline of Video Engineering, Telecom, Physics or IT and/ or a Business Degree
Good understanding of the Video Broadcast industry
Strong key account management skills
Customer friendly attitude
at least 3 years successful sales experience
Experience with the Broadcast industry would be considered ans advantage
Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a multicultural organisation
Fluent, verbal and written Russian and English language skills are essential
Good communication and negotiation skills
Ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value propositions
Willing to travel within Europe and particularly CIS and Russia region (up to 40% of the time), with occasional travel to the US and Europe for training events and exhibitions
