Solutions Architect - Hong Kong Asia.

• Hong Kong based person responsible for providing technical support to the Sales team; capturing and interpreting customer requirements in order to produce system proposals, plus activities including: Customer Demonstrations, Scope of Works documentation, Quotations, Diagrams and other supporting material.

• The role covers the entire Asia-Pacific region working with all products. This involves working directly with clients, sometimes through dealers and alongside the APAC sales team, along with supporting exhibitions, road shows and user events.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for helping the sales teams to achieve their individual targets as well as contributing to the overall company goal. They will be a self- starter and a highly motivated individual. 

COMPLEXITY:

• Assisting the Regional Sales Manager to capture customer requirements

• Provide a conduit between Sales and the Product Units

• Present and demonstrate products and solutions to potential customers

• Assess and capture customer operational workflows

• Engineering set-up and demonstration of Proof Of Concept (POC) systems

• Large involvement in the Bid Process, taking ownership of the bid from bid kick-off through to bid approval and submission

• Produce detailed responses to customer’s ITT, RFP and RFI

• Prepare pricing quotations using CRM SmartCatalogue

• Prepare detailed Scope of Works using MS Word

• Prepare response to a line by line (compliance matrix)

• Prepare system Diagrams using MS Visio

• Interface with the Product Units to gain and validate latest product information

• Other Sales and Pre-Sales duties

• Considerable travel involved at times

• Participation as required in Broadcast trade shows such as IBC (Amsterdam), Broadcast Asia, KOBA, Interbee and NAB (Las Vegas).

EXPERIENCE:

• Good experience in broadcasting

• An understanding of broadcast automation and media asset management

• Good experience in system Design and Pre-Sales

• Technical - Engineering background
